HabitatDry grazed sagebrush scrub disscected by dry gully. Pinus monophylla woodland on granitic ridge upslope E. Mixed decomposed granite and pumice alluvium soil. With Artemisia tridentata, Grayia spinosa, Ephedra viridis, Phlox stansburyi, Eriogonum umbellatum, Achnatherum hymenoides, Phacelia bicolor, Cryptantha circumscissa.
