Associated species include: Cercocarpus betuloides, Quercus wislizeni, Q. chrysolepis, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Eriodictyon trichocalyx, Yucca whipplei, Lotus strigosus, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Poa secunda, Mentzelia montana, Bromus tectorum, Ceanothus leucodermis, Epilobium canum, Melica imperfecta, Arabis sparsiflora arcuata, Galium angustifolium, Phacelia longipes, Allium monticola, Erigeron foliosus, Pellaea mucronata and Cheilanthes covillei.;
