HabitatArea burned in 2001, formerly dominated by scrub of Encelia farinosa, Hyptis emoryi, Larrea tridentata, Viguiera parishii, Acacia greggii, and Bebbia juncea; currently with rich array of annuals and perennial herbs including Camissonia californica, Phacelia distans, Calyptridium monandrum, Emmenanthe penduliflora, Dichelostemma pulchellum, Gilia spp., Pectocarya recurvata, Cryptantha barbigera, Perityle emoryi, Amsinckia tessellata, Delphinium parishii, Lotus strigosus, and Rafinesquia neomexicana.
