HabitatE facing steep rocky (granitic) slopes. Very nice CSS with some elements of chaparral. Associated with Malosma laurina, Galium angustifolium, Gnaphalium bicolor, Encelia californica, Salvia mellifera, Daucus pusillus, Gutierrezia californica, Scrophularia californica, Mimulus aurantiacus, and Phacelia distans.
