HabitatFlat lakebed of fine, silty, saline soil, with very shallow depressions scattered about the surface; assoc. with Sphaeralcea emoryi, Schismus barbatus, Erodium cicutarium, E. texanum, Prosopis, Olneya, Castela emoryi, etc. Soil very damp under surface.
