NotesRare to moderate. Very heavily used in past by cattle, possibly present use by deer. 2 to 5'. Perennial. Flowers in Mid-May. Fruiting period: Possibly in June. Apparently resprouts after burns. Not any extensive stand found in this immediate area.;
