Locality NW Palomar Mountains; Agua Tibia Mountains; Approximately 0.25 miles SW of the grassland on the W face of Agua Tibia Mountain (just outside the Cleveland National Forest, Agua Tibia Wilderness Area Boundary);, along the old remnants of the Magee Pack Trail, that originates at the private inholding in the SW 1/4 of Sec. 1. The grassland occurs at the break in slope on the W 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of sec. 1.

HabitatMesic draw with scattered Quercus agrifolia surrounded by chaparral of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Ceanothus crassifolius, Quercus berberidifolia, Selaginella bigelovii, Polypodium californicum, etc. Arkose substrate with sandy loam soil; aspect WSW; slope 120%.
