Notes<coords cont.: center of N/2>; Steep slopes and canyon bottom with rocky volcanic substrate. Pinyon and oak brush with Pinus monophylla, P. sabiniana, Quercus john-tuckeri, Arctostaphylos glauca?, Ericameria linearifolia, Poa secunda, Ceanothus greggii, Cercocarpus betuloides, Artemisia tridentata, etc. Common 4-7 m tree on dry slopes, especially N-facing. Visually a dominant.;
