Notes<coords cont.: W1/2>; E side of panhandle approx. 60 m S of telephone poles running E-Wacross station along fence. Gravelly roadside. Large, non-native, tree like shrub. Monoecious; female flowers with 3 large red styles resembling snake tongues; male flowers below female with clusters of short stamen and yellow anthers. Plant has a hollow stem. Uncommon in field station.;
