Locality Liebre Mountains region: Lower Leona Valley, southeastern end of Ritter Ridge and adjacent wash of Amargosa Creek, north of Elizabeth Lake Road.
Elevation 853 m
HabitatSteep, xeric southerly slope of highly eroded Pelona schist and adjacent disturbed floodplain. Slope with low, open scrub of Artemisia tridentata, Encelia actoni, Ephedra nevadensis, and Chrysothamnus nauseosus, with scattered Juniperus californica along the crest, annuals well developed and including Lotus strigosus, Emmenanthe penduliflora, Cryptantha muricata, Camissonia boothii ssp. decorticans, Pectocarya penicillata, Camissonia californica, Chorizanthe cf. xanti, Lupinus sparsiflorus, Bromus tectorum, and Schismus barbatus; floodplain with scattered Artemisia, Chrysothamnus, Tamarix sp., Baccharis salicifolia, and abundant Bromus tectorum.
