Locality Liebre Mountains region: Anaverde Valley at north base of Sierra Pelona.
Elevation 976m
HabitatLow rolling hills and gentle alluvial valleys at base steep northern escarpment of Sierra Pelona ridge. Mostly alluvial deposits of gravels derived from Pelona schist, a few scattered schist outcrops. Low open scrub of Artemisia tridentata, Juniperus californicus, Encelia actoni, Lycium cooperi, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, Quercus john-tuckeri, Salazaria mexicana, Ericameria linearifolia, Yucca whipplei, and scattered Yucca brevifolia; grading into grassland dominated by Bromus tectorum, Schismus barbatus, and Erodium cicutarium.
