Notes | <coords cont.: E/2 NE/4 NW/4>; Steep-sided, rocky canyon of weathered gneiss, outcrops and loose scree deposits common on xeric slopes, canyon bottoms with benches of boulders, gravel, and sand of granite and gneiss. Xeric slopes with low scrub of Salvia apiana, Eriogonum fasciculatum polifolium, Salvia mellifera, Adenostoma fasciculatum, and Yucca whipplei; mesic slopes with open chaparral of Cercocarpus betuloides, Ericameria linearifolia, Arctostaphylos glauca, Aesculus californica, Quercus wislizeni, Quercus chrysolepis, and Rhamnus ilicifolia; riparian area with well developed woodland of Platanus racemosa, Salix lasiolepis, and Salix laevigata. Perennial herb, tepals yellow, inner whorl with reddish band and hairs above gland, and red spot below. Infrequent on open, rocky slopes.; | ||||||
