HabitatSteep to relatively gentle slopes of decomposed granitic soils; Extensive areas of grassland with Stipa cernua, Poa secunda, Erodium cicutarium, Corethrogyne filaginifolia, Avena barbata, Amsinckia tessellata, Claytonia spp. Lower slopes with a few scattered Pinus sabiniana and Quercus lobata, channel of wash with dense stands of Salix spp.
