HabitatChaparral on steep hillsides recently burned; plants collected from ridge and W facing slopes. Associated with Leptodactylon californicum, Eriodictyon trichocalyx, Scrphlularia califoprnica, Penstemon bicolor, Eriophyllum, Solanum xantii, Phacelia branchyloba, Eriogonum fasciculatum.
