NotesOccasional on N-facing slope in mixed coastal sage scrub and annual grassland with Avena barbata, Siline laciniata, Salvia apiana, and Dudleya multicaulis in sandy-loam soil. Perennial herb from bulb, flowers yellowish tipped with purple-brown on outside, inner surfaces lavender-purple with yellow hairs.;
