Locality Palos Verdes Peninsula: Rancho Palos Verdes; narrow, eroded canyon through southerly coastal bluffs, ca. 2750m SE of Inspiration Point and 2680m WNW of White Point.

HabitatSteep; eroding coastal bluffs of largely S and SSW exposure. Dominated locally by Opuntia littorlis, O. prolifera, Lycium californicum, Mirabilis californica, amoung the natives, and numerous invasive non-natives such as Mesembranthemum crystallinum, Avena, Bromus, Foeniculum vulgare, etc.
