Locality Palos Verdes Peninsula: Rancho Palos Verdes; narrow, eroded canyon through southerly coastal bluffs, ca. 2750m SE of Inspiration Point and 2680m WNW of Whites Point.
Elevation 15m
HabitatSteep; eroding coastal bluffs of largely S and SSW exposure. Dominated locally by Opuntia littorlis, O. prolifera, Lycium californicum, Mirabilis californica, amoung the natives, and numerous invasive non-natives such as Mesembranthemum crystallinum, Avena, Bromus, Foeniculum vulgare, etc.

NotesScattered seedlings on banks and benches of ravine. A couple of years ago, naturalized, blooming plants were observed on the terrace above (about 260 ft) along the channel of this canyon (that upper terrace is now fenced off).;
