Notes<coords cont.: NW/4 SW/4 SE/4 SE/4>; Tufted herbaceous perennial, sheaths and leaves felty-pubescent, bright green. Scattered locally amid Quercus chrysolepis. [Clonal material from this clump has been cultivated through 1994 by the collector in Ontario, 1060 feet elevation, where the coloration is actually more of a bluish-green to gray-green] Voucher for fresh material used in a grass identification workshop given by David Amme of the Calif. Native Grass Association, hosted by RSABG, 9-10 May 1992.;
