Notesgenerally sandy soils. asoc spp: Prosopis glandulosa var. Torreyana, Larrea tridentata, ambrosia dumosa, Oligomeris linifolia, Cryptantha maritima, Ambrosia dumosa, Oligomeris linifolia, Cryptanthamaritima. Frequent annual in sandy soils of wash banks throughout area, occasionally on flats in stabilized dunes area. Flowers maroon.;
