NotesFrom lake up steep 400 forested moraine slope, on up sloping bench above to a sod terraced chute leading up thru cliff to left to 10,800 Upper Cirque surrounded on 3 sides by 11, 500 ridges and containing 2 lakes and 4 tarns, sterile-no Isoetes etc. Pinus albicaulis krumholtz wherever footholds. Carex among lakes on cirque floor.;
