Locality Rocky ledge near shore of lower e. end of 10,700' Bighorn Lake at headwaters N. FK. Mono Crk., 2 m. w. of 12,841' Red and White Mt. on Sierran crest.
HabitatPinus albicaulis Krumholtz to 11,600' - especially between avalanche chutes of upper cliffs of 11,600' ridge w. of lake. Lake sterile - no Isoetes or other bottom cover. Cassiope infrequent - seen also on ledge just below outlet and in the Upper Cirque e. of Billy Glenn Lake s. of Mott L. - i.e. s. of this station on other side of N.Fk. Mono Crk.
