NotesOn dry, rocky and gravelly slopes. With Pinus monophylla, Juniperus osteosperma, Yucca brevifolia jaegeri, Y. schidigera, Prunus fasciculata, Purshia glandulosa, etc. Plant sprawling, flowers purplish, showy in late afternoon.;
