Locality 11,951' Red Mountain directly northwest and above 11,297' Hell For Sure Pass in Le Conte Divide between drainage of North Fork Kings River and Goddard Canyon (South Fork San Joaquin River).
HabitatTop of Mountain a broad rounded mass of broken red rock granite knob a little below southwest, away from broad top slopes become steep. Considerable area large krumholtz on steep east side of ridge down near pass, otherwise alpine for 1200' below peak. Raillardella on the east slope of the peak ridge.
