Pilot Knobs SW 12245ft., Basin mostly above 11000 Lodgepole for French Canyon up to ca. 10400ft. Subalpine forest to 11200ft. alt 12000ft.In Upper Cirgue SE of 10,000 Mott Lake, 1 1/2 miles from headwaters N Fork Mono Creek; 2 1/2 miles W of 12,841' Red and White Mt. on Sierran crest.
