NotesFrom fine sand in damp low spot; Creosote bush scrub, with Gilia minor. Transplanted March 5, 1958. Mature plants later spring. Herbage bright green; calyx lobes bright red, flat in cross section; corolla colors vivid, lobes pink, tube purple, throat with yellow spots, orifice with narrow white rim.;
