Notes | Subalpine forest well developed on lower sect. and on S face, reduced to Pinus albicaulis and broken along backbone from ca. 10,500 up. Pinus albicaulis SW face Silver Peak reduced to krumholtz at top. Cirque cliffs to S across glacial canyon bare. This Carex in small clumps-with other Carices and grasses on a little pumice flat at a break in the backbone of the ridge at ca. 10,600 .; |
