Locality Population is approximately 6.3 miles north northeast of the town of Lone Pine on an alluvial fan on the western side of the Inyo Mountains. Site is accessed via the Owenyo Lone Pine Road.

HabitatThe population occurs on a slight slope (southwest facing) in very gravelly soils. Associated vegetation is mainly comprised of shrubs.
