HabitatA sandy dry lake in recent burn area with some of the lake margins having partially burnt Pinus contorta, P. flexilis, P. jefferyi, Abies concolor, Arctostaphylos patula, Chrysolepis sempervirens and dry lake bottom having Artemisia leudoviciana, Juncus mexicanus, Carex subfusca, Poa pratensis, Muhlenbergia richardsonis, Rumex salicifolius, Potentilla wheeleri, etc. Scattered around margins of dry lake.
