HabitatA narrow meandering canyon with small springs having Populus fremonti, Salix, Baccharis salicifolius, B. sergioides, Alnus rhombifolia, Vitus girdiana, Epilobium canum and surrounding area having Rhus ovata, Eriodyction trichocalyx, Keckiella antirhinoides, Marah, Opuntia basilaris, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, etc. Locally common on steep gravely slopes of canyon.
