HabitatA spring area in rocky canyon with Populus fremontii, Salix exigua, Arundo donax, Tamarix ramosissima, Baccharis salicifolia, Muhlenbergia rigida and surrounding slopes having Fouqueria splendens, Cylindropuntia bigelovii, Peucephyllum schottii, Senegalia greggii, Encelia farinosa, Opuntia basilaris, Echinocereus engelmanii, etc. Frequent in spring area.
