Locality Bob Powers Gateway Preserve, on southeast corner of junction Highways 155 and 178, Hot Spring Valley, along South Fork Kern River. West of Lake Isabella Blvd, north side of Lake Isabella (town), south of Lake Isabella Reservoir and dam., Below auxillary dam.
Elevation 755m
HabitatSunny, seasonally moist alkaline riparian area along Kern River valley. Gentle slope ca. 2 degrees, facing S to SSW. Clay and loam soil. Quaternary alluvium surrounded by hills of Mesozoic granite.
