HabitatGravelly wash through rocky hills. Tertiary volcanic tuff, rhyolite, and tuff breccia (with pumice, basalt, andesite, and rhyolite fragments). Sand and gravel soil, 10 YR 4/4 dark yellowish brown. Frequent on wash bottom.
