Locality About 2 miles east of Madera city limits, along the Burlington Northern - Santa Fe railroad tracks between Ave. 13 and Ave. 15. West of Road 21, northwest of Cottonwood Creek. Vernal pool O-2.

HabitatVernal pool; swale/ditch on valley floor; sunny open area. +/- flat. Next to old agricultural field and railroad tracks. Seasonally moist, plants submerged up to ~0.2 m last winter. Clay soil, Pleistocene non-marine substrate.
