Locality Northwest foot of Castle Mountains, northeast of Barnwell, south of I-15, ca. 1.1 mi. southwest of the California-Nevada state line. Large wash southeast of NN 149, southeast of Stagecoach Well and northwest of Hart Peak.

HabitatBroad sandy wash through rolling hills. 2 degree slope facing N, NE, E. Sand and gravel; 10 YR 4/2 dark grayish brown. Quaternary alluvium below hill of Miocene welded rhyolite tuff (tuff of Juan). Joshua tree woodland and desert wash vegetation.
