Locality Chocolate Moutains (Chocolate Moutain Aerial Gunnery Range). North of Lion Head Mountain, near Beal Well. Surrounding desert off of Beal Road.
Elevation 400m
HabitatSteep granitic mountains surrounding a lower area, with a large patch of Opuntia bigelovii on elevated center. Plus a large sandy wash coming down into this bowl from the north. This wash is on the west side of bowl, and drains to the west side of the Chocolate Mountains. Growing on steep rocky slopes.
