Locality Foothills of the Eastern San Joaquin Valley: Lake Success, about 5 miles E. of Porterville, within transmission line corridor W. of spillway and S. of Avenue 146.

HabitatBromus diandrus dominated annual grassland, with Avena and occasional patches of Stipa pulchra, mostly on red, sandy-clay soils. Very restricted perennial on sparsely vegetated soil below transmission tower just SW of spillway.
