Locality Stanislaus National Forest, just west of entrance to Fence Creek Campground off forest road 6N06 off Clark Fork Road from Highway 108.

HabitatForest is mixed-conifer along the side of Fence Creek. Both very mature and very young trees in the area. Both Pyrola aphylla and P. dentata growing in the area, but not in the direct vicinity of these plants.
