Locality Arica Mountains: along jagged ridgeline of mountain range; in the Palen/McCoy wilderness. Collecting on a sand ramp located just below the ridgeline on the eastern side that was trapped between the ridgeline and the steep narrow rocky canyons below it.

HabitatOn a very steep sand ramp that in areas would collapse in large sections from walking on it. Occasional across sand ramp.
