HabitatSandy small hills between mountains and large wash. Slope 5-20 degrees, facing west to S25E. Quaternary alluvium and aeolian sand.

Annual, 3-9 inches tall; locally frequent on semi-stabilized sand. About 1,000,000 plants in the area.;
