Locality East end of the Santa Lucia Wilderness. Started at locked gate to lookout on Hi Mountain, then south southeast to Hi Valley, then east to Road 30S05.2., Trail started near 35.26052N 120.42981W. ended at 35.24926N 120.38324W. T31S R15E S8 NE1/4.
Elevation 558m
HabitatTrail started along road on ridgeline of chaparral, then down sunny thick chaparral slope to a narrow rift valley with heavy soil. Grassy valley dominated with oaks. Mostly Quercus douglasii, then smaller amounts of Q. agrifolia, Q. lobata. Leave valley for more chaparral. Then close to the end some more grassy area with oaks. Growing in valley.
