Locality Garcia Mountain: Off Forest Service Road 30S05.2, Down Trout Creek to trail that climbs up over a saddle and drops down into another tributary of Trout Creek. Stopped at Buckeye Campsite., Wilderness boundary starts with trail leaving Trout Creek to climb the saddle. Started near 35.25785N 120.39436W. Ended at camp, near 35.24658N 120.34365W.

HabitatDrought year, only pools in deeper depressions. Not much running water at this site. Chaparral slopes, oak forest here and there. And some places within canyon bottom were wide, sandy benches, some very sunny. Open sunny chaparral slopes up and over the saddle. The camp site was a sloping bench, very shady. Growing in flat, and sloping areas.
