Locality Garcia Mountain. Most collections made in the Garcia Wilderness. Stony Creek campground. From the camp down stream to the trail that cuts across from Caldwell Mesa to Avenales Station., From 35.20955N 120.25839W TO 35.22463N 120.28397W.

HabitatAround the campground is inholding use for grazing. Mostly grasslands with oaks. Riparian habitat near stream. Chaparral and mostly Quercus douglasii woodland on lower slopes and benches down stream. Nice Pinus coulteri forests up on upper slopes of the south side of creek (Pine Ridge). Upper oak benches had a lot of signs of Sus scrofa. This is a drough year so no running creek water. Only pools of water in deeper depressions. Other associated vascular plants include: Quercus agrifolia, Q. lobata, Q. berberidifolia, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Heteromeles arbutifolia, Keckiella cordifolia, Rhus aromatica, Holodiscus discolor, Mimulus aurantiacus, Salvia mellifera, S. spathacea, Ribes malvaceum, R. speciosum, Salix lasiolepis, Adenostoma fasciculatum, Arctostaphylos glauca, Artemisia californica, A. douglasiana, Amorpha californica, Ceanothus oliganthus, C. cuneatus, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Linanthus californicus, Lomatium californicum, Marah fabacea, Rhamnus ilicifolia, and Penstemon centranthifolius. Growing along old road-trail.
