NotesLocally abundant shrub; pollen from several individuals very irregular suggest they are triploid. No individuals found bearing normal pollen; stems placed in pot, Chino Valley, Arizona; three flowers collected 23 April 2013, another flower photographed and collected (1) 30 April 2013, additional flower collected 2 May 0213.;
