Locality Rattlesnake canyon in Johnson Valley. From Lucerne Valley at junction of CA- 247 (also called Old Woman Springs Rd) & CA-18, take CA-247 SE for 18.5 miles. Turn right (SW) on Rattlesnake Canyon Rd., Cross a cattle guard and continue onto BLM Rd 3331. Mileage to site from Hwy 247 is 5.5 miles.
