HabitatA small disturbed spring with a good amount of standing water surrounded by Salix, Pinus monophylla, Juniperus, Yucca brevifolia, Quercus cornelius-mulleri, Purshia tridentata, Artemisia tridentata and having a few Populus fremontii and with Forestiera pubescens, Baccharis, Gutierrezia microcephala and Chamaesyce albomarginata
