HabitatPerennial spring in narrow canyon running S-N. Pumice soil with rhyolite outcrops above. Open Pinus jeffryi woodland with grazed Artemisia tridentata / Purshia tridentata scrub. With Populus tremuloides, Mimulus guttatus, Aquilegia formosa, Sphenosciadium capitellatum, Achillea millefolium, Rosa woodsii, Ribes cereum, Urtica dioica, Carex lanuginosa.
