NotesNear type locality. On steep north gravelly slope. About 40 percent oplants are 'pentachaeta' type, but half of these have plumose bristles; ca. 3 percent have glabrous disk-akenes and no pappus; remaining 57 percent have 10-14 plumose pappus bristles. Much variation. n=8.;
