NotesOnly near summit, in gravel pockets or crevices, with Hulsea algida, P. berryi, etc. Mostly in fruit now but very beautiful in flower; heads of massed flowers with lavender-violet limb and reddish purple tube, the limb 16-18 mm across; very fragrant; caudex very densely clothed with old leaves.;
