Locality Summit area between Prefumo Canyon and See Canyon, San Luis Range.
HabitatSerpentenite parent material. Chaparral with Ceanothus cuneatus, Pickeringia montana, and Quercus durata dominant. Springs and drainages lined with Cirsium fontinale var. obispoense with intermittent overstory of Hetyeromeles arbutifolia and Umbellularia californica. Grassy areas with Nassella pulchra, Koeleria macrantha, and annual grasses dominant.; Occasional in serpentine grassland and in partial shade of dwarf woodland-chaparral.
