HabitatChaparral on N facing lsope and flats, patches of oaks in cyn bottom, with grassy openings. Some areas developed as citrus groves. Most specimens collected in vicinity of a S facing hillside with clay soil. Assoc species include Eriogonum fasciculatum, Quercus agrifolia, Q. dumosa, Baccharis glutinosa, and Artemisia californica
